Sanoma Budapest and RTL are the most innovative

2010. 09. 22.
A fresh Media Innovation Survey by @M magazine.

@M magazine, the interactive magazine of Mediainfo.hu and Marketinginfo.hu, surveyed leading personalities and decision takers in the media sector to find out which media owners they believe are the most innovative.

The survey covered the television, radio, online and print segments, and it was the print segment where the selection of a winner was the easiest, with Sanoma Budapest receiving 56 percent of votes. No other company received significant scores, and many respondents said that other companies were 'not innovative at all'. According to the survey report 'this was no surprise, because Sanoma is the only publishing house that is really active in the mobile sector, operates a TV channel and an online portfolio, and its print magazines are well-established products of high brand value. The motto of Sanoma Budapest ("from a traditional publishing house to a multimedia company") is well-grounded and credible.'

In the television sector, 50 percent of respondents said that RTL Klub was the most innovative player in the sector.

In the radio segment, most of the votes (25 percent) went to Radio1, and winner in the online segment was Index.hu (36 percent).
