Sanoma Budapest adapts new organization structure to support digitalization

2010. 06. 30.
The organization structure of Sanoma Budapest will be adapted to facilitate the change to become a fully digital media company.

This should support digitalized operations across the company to bring offline and online products closer together and to implement a digital way of thinking.

The organizational borders between the new media and the print department will disappear. In the new structure, product managers will manage and develop a portfolio of both online and offline products. All products and services will be categorized according to thematic groups like celebrity magazines & TV guides, health-related titles, motoring magazines, Nők Lapja magazine and Nők Lapja Café, and all glossies. This should increase the efficiency of magazine and marketing managers.

This new organizational structure helps Sanoma Budapest strengthen its position in digital media.

The transfer of know-how that is required for the implementation of a further, crosscompany digital way of thinking will be supported, in line with Sanoma Budapest's long-term objective to gradually assume a new role as service provider, content provider and commercial company.
