Imre Gerentsér appointed Digital Director of the Hungarian and Czech Sanoma Magazines International companies

Imre Gerentsér has been appointed as Digital Director of the Hungarian and the Czech subsidiaries of Sanoma Magazines International.

Besides his existing tasks and position at Sanoma Budapest, he will play a key role in setting up a new digital organization at Sanoma Magazines Praha.

The new organizational structure allows for a closer and more efficient cooperation between Sanoma Budapest and Sanoma Magazines Praha.

-The online market in the Czech Republic is relatively welldeveloped. We have cooperated with Sanoma Magazines Praha on several occasions in the past, and now we want to build an even closer cooperation. For instance, our very popular eOldal (ePage) service is based on a concept developed by our Czech colleagues, called eStranky.cz. Sanoma Budapest, as a leading online content provider in Hungary, has extensive experience in the online segment and is able to provide great support for the Czech online organization - says Imre Gerentsér.

Imre Gerentsér is Head of the New Media Division of Sanoma Budapest since 2004 and he is responsible for overseeing the digital strategy, for the development of online services and for leading the mobile media business of the company.
